So I turned 30 on Tuesday. I also woke up this morning, weighed myself, and I’ve lost 15 lbs!
That’s about half of what I want to lose, but I might have wished for the other 15 for my birthday, so I’m not worried.
I’m thirty now and fifteen fits perfectly.
Back after three weeks of traveling, three lbs. gained (eek!) and close to a week of being sick as a dog (where did that expression come from, anyways? I hate that expression!) I’m now getting back into the swing of things (that expression I like).
Breakfast today is 1/2 C. Kashi Go Lean, 1 container Fage 0% Total Greek Yogurt, 1/2 C. Strawberries and 1/4 C. Blueberries.
Totals:
Calories 210
Fat 0.5g
Carbohydrates 32g
Fiber 8g
Protein 24g
Reality Check? My 30th is less than 2 months away, and so far, I suck at losing weight.
More Fish Toast! Gross! But Good!!!
Lunch: 4 oz. Lamb with Penzey’s Greek Seasoning (tasted like a gyro - I swear), 1/2 of a plate of veggies, 1/4 C. Fage 0% Greek Yogurt mixed with 1/8 C. Grated Cucumber and 1 tsp. Lemon Juice.
Best lunch I’ve had in a loooong time.
I’m currently loving protein shakes after my workouts. So yummy, so filling, what more could a girl ask for?
And I snuck a little super food into this one: An Acai Berry Smoothie Pack from Sanbazon. Total calories 385, kept me full for hours.
Monday night dinner: Spicy Tuna “Don” from local sushi restaurant.
Approx: 1 C. Brown Rice, 8 oz. Sushi- Grade Tuna, Shitake Mushrooms and Pickled Sushi Ginger, all about 500 calories.
Lunch today was a protein shake made with 1 banana, 1 C. Unsweetened Almond Breeze and a trial size packet of Metabolic Reset Vanilla protein powder. Pretty yummy, less than 275 calories, and tons of protein and fiber.
I was full until mid afternoon, when I had an not-photographed string cheese and 1 C. Sliced Cucumbers in the car.
Always on the run!
Exercise today was with my new personal trainer. I’ve worked out with him 4 times so far. He has me doing a ton of lunges and squats, which is great, because I would never do these things on my own. Ordinarily. You know what I mean.
Breakfast was 28 “squares” (they’re really rectangles) of Kashi Cinnamon Harvest cereal for 180 calories.
This is yummy.
Dinner! So yummy. Filet, Quinoa, Mushrooms, Asparagus and Cherry Tomatoes. Side of Lemon and A1 Sauce, obvs.
